10 Year Old Craps Her Pants

______________________________________________________________

Dear Right Advice,

-BlahBlahBlah- 10 yr old that is pottying in her pants. -BlahBlahBlah- example she went to the potty a few minutes before she went to her room, then came back out of her room and said i pooped in my pants. -BlahBlahBlah- I asked her why and she said I just did not want to get back up and go to the bathroom. i dont know what else to do -BlahBlahBlah- we tried taking things away -BlahBlahBlah- grounding her for a day -BlahBlahBlah- nothing seems to work. Its not nothing medical cause we took her to the doctor. -BlahBlahBlah- I dont know if she is just being lazy or what but its getting bad and dont know what else to do. -BlahBlahBlah- my 4 yr old is starting to pee in his pants and he has been trained since he was 2 yrs old. -BlahBlahBlah- She stays dry all day at school and at night. -BlahBlahBlah-

Sincerely,
-BlahBlahBlah-

It's hard to tell what's really going on when you approach this with the "something is wrong with HER," approach. The only thing you've successfully conveyed is that while your child is regressing, you're assing it in front of the computer with your back to the kids.

Seriously, you could've drilled google for some articles written by doctors, but instead you're online, casting for attention.

Hilariously apropos is that your Münchausen by proxy has been passed down to your kids in the form of Münchausen shit-yourself and Piss-yourself.

Shitting yourself is most often the aftermath of anal retention. Using your ass to express autonomy is pretty fucking primitive so if you're able to rule out sexual abuse and domestic violence, then lets just boil this down to a resistance of independence, probably because those whom she depends upon appear to her as not very dependable.

My advice to you: Take her to the kitchen, read her the back of a Tollhouse package, and braid her hair while you wait for the oven.

Kids won't Pitch In.

Dear Right Advice
-BlahBlahBlah- -BlahBlahBlah- 3 children -BlahBlahBlah- 5, 3 -BlahBlahBlah- and a 7mo old daughter. -BlahBlahBlah- My boys constantly trash the house -BlahBlahBlah- expect me to clean it. -BlahBlahBlah- sick of it. -BlahBlahBlah- they just dont take me seriously -BlahBlahBlah- whine and sit there long enough -BlahBlahBlah- do it myself. It takes more effort trying to get them to -BlahBlahBlah-than it does for me to be their slave. Its driving me nuts. -BlahBlahBlah-

Sincerely,
-BlahBlahBlah-

Is it Mother's Day?

They're fucking 5 and 3 years old.

And they're boys; Put them the fuck outside!

You say they expect you to be their slaves? No they don't. They just don't give a fuck about messes. And they, just like the law, don't give a fuck if you think you have shitty roommates, they just ask that you feed them, clothe them, enroll them in school, and keep them supervised in a place clear of rot and pestilence.

And it's not like they're throwing you any curve balls. Everything they have to mess your house up with, is shit you've brokered to them. It's not like you're getting a spontaneous mess of bear bottles and take-out on the coffee table. You don't go into the kitchen hungry and say, "oh fuck some one cooked and didn't wash the cookware." It's not like you have to second guess where to neatly stow a pile of cellphone bills and coupons so they can find it later.

Seriously though, what more do you expect from a 5 year old than sponging surfaces, and moving light weight objects.

My advice to you: Merge philanthropy with good parenting and pull around the back of value village with a car full of crying kids and a trunk full of reasons to cry about.
